What if there is nothing to do?
Your effort to do is what maintains your sense of separation. Follow the impulse to act, back to its source, and suddenly you will remember that you’ve always been one.

What is Viśrānti?
Viśrānti is a Sanskrit term with a rich meaning. It can be translated as rest/repose/relaxation, as cessation/stopping/end, as peace/tranquility or as fulfillment. All these different translation point towards a path that is no path at all. It is the complete letting go of the idea of being on a spiritual journey, by letting everything be just the way it is.
In this Yoga, the focus is on embracing everything and thus allowing for a natural unfolding of self-discovery. Instead of striving for achievement, this practice encourages you to soften into your being, creating space for deeper insights and a more authentic experience of life.
There is a multitude of practices from simple relaxation techniques, nidrā, āsana, meditation, and others, focused on letting go and letting be. It is a holistic approach for every fiber of your personality to relax into “just being” and experiencing the world as it is, not as we want or wish it to be. Finding peace in what is, not in something we might or might not attain some day…
About me
My Name is Kālidās. I am a seeker on a journey for nearly 25 years, searching for the true nature of… well, everything.
My search has led me through various traditions from many different cultures, but has been significantly shaped by the rich tapestry of tantric traditions, particularly the Trika and Śākta movements and – most importantly – by my beloved mother Kālī.
I have studied and been initiated by many teachers into various traditions, and have found my true (sat)guru in Swami Sivananda Saraswati of Rishikesh. One of the most profound spiritual teachers of the 20. century who is still guiding me in my life. Viśrānti Yoga as I teach it, is a direct interpretation of Swamijis integral yoga teachings and an implementation of his tireless call to his devotees, to: Serve, Love, Meditate, Realize.
My life is a heartfelt dedication to yoga and spirituality, and I am passionate about sharing this transformative journey with all beings.
